Aegis Film & Television Group was founded in 2003 by its President, Arianna Eisenberg, a writer/producer with 15-years’ experience in the entertainment industry. Starting with Paramount Pictures in post-production Arianna worked with numerous producers and studio executives in production and development and acquisitions - including Paul Haggar, Dawn Steel and Don Simpson. She left production briefly to do research and write independent analysis of the entertainment industry for various news media outlets in Hollywood and around the world. She has been sought after for her on-air expertise by the BBC, CNN, ITN and Channel Nine Australia. A member of The Society of Children’s Book Writers & Illustrators, Arianna is in negotiations with a major publishing house for the first novel in her series “Jemiyah Jones & The Fairies of Nir” also to be produced as a major motion picture. Arianna is a member of Women in Film, the AFI and a Patron of LACMA.
Lizabeth Rogers joined Aegis Film & Television Group in 2003 as President with a primary responsibility to create and control budgets for each project, coordinate cast and crew scheduled with a specialty in production cost control. With twenty-five years’ experience in the entertainment industry, specializing in production systems design, implementation, reporting and controls, Liz brings her unique expertise to AFTG. Widely recognized in the studio community as the head of systems design for Warner Bros. Studios, Liz has had a hand in the coordination of over 300 films and 500 television episodes. A respected lecturer and trainer, Liz has contributed her knowledge to major studios including Disney, Fox and Paramount and production facilities such as Todd-AO, Soundelux, Goldwyn Studios and Pacific Title and Arts Studio. Further, Liz heads the documentary division of Aegis Film & Television Group and has led the team to over festival awards and recognition for “On Sacred Ground” and “Catching Dreams”. Liz is currently in post-production on our latest documentary feature “Dark Water” to be released late 2011.
Executive Producer, Donald C. Rogers is one of a number highly regarded and respected individuals working in the industry today. A 45-year veteran of the entertainment industry, Don was Senior Vice President of Post Production and Sound for Warner Bros. Studios. He has spent over fifteen years as a member of the Board of Governors of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences and is himself an Oscar© winner for lifetime achievement in the technical field for his innovative designs and ideas. His list of feature film credits reaches well over one thousand and he brings unparalleled experience and expertise to Aegis Film and Television Group.
Steven W. Shultz - Senior Vice President - Production. Steve brings 25-years’ experience in Creative Development having worked on numerous projects at Paramount Pictures, Universal Studios, Warner Bros. and Sony to name a few. He has an extensive background in Post-Production as well as Production. Some of his credits include “Miami Vice”, “Shogun”, “Taxi” and “Mad About You”.
Damon Lane – formerly head of Acquisitions and Development for Capitol Films in London, Damon also heads those divisions for Aegis Film & Television Group. He is Associate Producer on CROSSMAGLEN and has been in development on BLACK JACQUES for the past year. Damon brings a tremendous amount of experience in the area of sales, finance and distribution as well.
Irwin Moskowitz is Chief Financial Officer with 15 years of top level experience in the entertainment industry. With an MBA from UCLA, Irwin previously worked in the Entertainment Management Division for Bank of America. He was also head of accounting at SPELLING PRODUCTIONS. Irwin has an unparalleled grasp of the dynamics of entertainment accounting and is known as a fiscally conservative manager.
Jay Kenoff, Esq. heads our legal team. Jay is Senior Managing Partner in the highly regarded Century City entertainment law firm of Kenoff & Machtinger and brings a vast array of resources and experience to the table. He is a highly skilled, entertainment industry attorney with an eye for detail and the deal. His structuring and deal making abilities are second to none and he represents some of Hollywood’s most prestigious producers and film companies. Protecting our interests through due diligence is paramount and at the heart of our legal team.
Additionally, we have teamed with some of the best and brightest Hollywood has to offer to assemble a production entity that is second to none. We have formed relationships with key consultants and advisors who are available on an as-needed basis.
