Based on the true life story of Eugene Bullard, “Black Jacques” tells the story of the first black “Top Gun” pilot. The life of this extraordinary man is unequaled, and we are proud to be the ones to tell his story.

Born Eugene Jacques Bullard on October 9, 1894 in Columbus, Georgia, Eugene was the seventh of ten children. The son of slaves brought to America from Haiti, Eugene learned French and was determined to live a free man, in France where he was told that ‘Blacks is equal to Whites’.

From the boxing ring to the battlefields of Verdun, Eugene Bullard fought his way throught the obstacles of racism, earning the nickname of “The Black Swallow” and returned to American as an invisible hero, once again facing the racism that scarred his history.

and still your eyes are on the ground”… Dante Alighieri

With the Third Reich in its final death throes, anti-Nazi detective Willi Prinz finds himself in the center of a horrific string of gruesome murders.

Surrounded by the physical destruction of war and the incomparable human suffering that engulfs him, Prinz remains unaware of his own bizarre link to the world’s most notorious man – Adolf Hitler.

Subverted into the murky and violent world of the Gestapo he himself becomes the criminal – aiding and abetting them against his will and becomes involved in one of the largest scale thefts of priceless historical treasure the world has ever seen.

It is wholesale bedlam and chaos, but through it all he is tasked with finding out who murdered two women – both of whom trace relationships to the powerful among the Reich’s elite. While he has a sense of where his investigation might take him, he can never be fully prepared for what he will ultimately find and for who is responsible.

In the end Prinz cannot escape his own destiny and will be led, like a lamb to slaughter, to the realization of his own true hidden identity.

********************************

As a foreign correspondent, writer Stuart White covered major world stories including the Balkan wars in former Yugoslavia, the civil strife in Northern Ireland, the Scud missile attacks on Israel, the drug violence in Colombia, the genocide and famine in Rwanda, the Oklahoma City bombing and the aftermath of 9/11.

Born in Britain he has lived variously in London, Los Angeles, Hong Kong and the Persian Gulf, as well as travelling to more than fifty countries on assignment.

He is the author of five novels: Death Game, Operation Raven, ‘Til the Fat Lady Sings, Kiss of the Angel and Crossmaglen, which will be released as a major motion picture in 2011, starring Tony Curran, Tim Roth, Ben Kingsley, Brenda Fricker, Michael Gambon, Saffron Burrows and Thora Birch.

Who would want to destroy a man

who paints this beautifully?

The genre of MONET is clearly biography, but fundamentally it is a hero’s journey – an individual with extraordinary vision and ability going against the establishment and emerging victorious. MONET, by writer Dick Sussman is the first feature film to portray the little-known dramatic story of Claude Monet’s heroic struggle enduring 25 years of censorship, public ridicule, and poverty as he leads a revolution that changes the way we see the world.

As AMADEUS conjured the musical worlds that Mozart inhabited and created, MONET celebrates the artist’s ravishing painting and his own heartbreaking, challenging, and color-filled world. It dramatically explores the paradox of a troubled and complex genius creating sun-drenched, carefree scenes that radiate serenity and pleasure.

Sensitive as a poet amidst nature, Claude Monet is seen as one of the most rugged and masculine of all artists – often trekking 20 miles each day along cliffs and seashores, riverbanks and valleys, forests and fields, carrying 60 pounds of equipment. In MONET, more than a few abusers and antagonists tremble with fear when the artist, pushed beyond his limits, seizes and manhandles them with his powerful arms.

Who would want to destroy a man who paints this beautifully? And will Monet succeed within his own lifetime, and see the end of France’s total suppression of him and his fellow Impressionists?

Persecuted much like the early Christians, steadfast in their own unconventional beliefs, Monet and his followers embark on a similar road that promises only poverty, rejection, and lifelong sacrifice. We witness their unprecedented artist camaraderie as they share their discoveries and their meager belongings, and we feel the intensity of their passions, obsessions, hatreds and quarrels.

Throughout MONET the audience senses its inspiring universal themes about the value of persistence and determination; staying true to your passions; the need to be open to new ways of seeing things; and to clearly and pleasurably observe the world’s beauty.

Monet’s character, loves, and amazing accomplishments unfold via the memories of his eternally obsessed elder self: tormented, nearly blind, yet unable to stop painting. His true story follows the growth of his abilities and invincible determination – from the adolescent discovery of his color genius, through to his courageous leadership and inspiration of followers against the censoring forces of an entire government. In a seemingly unwinnable struggle lasting to his fifties, he faces the prospect of a wasted life, still unrecognized by his countrymen and the world.

At a time when France rigidly controls the painting methods, subjects, and exhibitions of artists, Claude Monet is born – gifted with vision that sees nuances of light no camera could ever record. His childhood passion for nature becomes an obsession to express what he sees there. Painting in the open air, he ignores all conventions for making art, despising the artificial, contrived studio work mandated by the government. Opposed by his father and his teachers, his passion and new ideas attract a beautiful young woman and a group of acolytes that includes the artists Renoir, Cezanne, and Pissarro. They follow Monet’s “heretical” beliefs that each painting is an experiment, that every artist should be free to paint any subject anywhere he chooses, and by whatever methods he chooses.

Labeling them as radicals, the government sends spies to observe their meetings, requires officials to exclude them from exhibitions, and persuades columnists to foment public ridicule. Galleries are warned against displaying their art, and hired troublemakers sabotage the group’s public exhibits and auctions.

Monet’s Impressionism is the most revolutionary development in the history of art and as such, is considered a threat to established order and government control. Eight French governments have been overturned within the lifetime of Monet’s elders, and all classes of French citizens are now tired and fearful of revolutions. Radicals and their movements and new ideas are to be suppressed and destroyed. The dark museum art and technique of the Old Masters represent ancient stability and nothing else is acceptable to anyone in Monet’s time.

As the movement’s leader, Monet is impoverished for years, with limited food and painting supplies, and faces near-certain failure despite his extraordinary talent. Shaken by the tragic early deaths of his wife and artist friends, and desperate to provide for his young children, he submits compromised art to a government exhibition only to earn further public abuse and the contempt of his fellow Impressionists.

More alone than ever, his artistic drive is undiminished, then further supported when he finds new love and a second family. With renewed enthusiasm he continues to perfect his unprecedented accuracy in observing effects of atmosphere and weather, discovering the radiance of light on everyday things.

Driven by the need to prove the honesty and power of his Impressionism to himself and to his countrymen, Monet embarks on brutally hard distant campaigns, nearly drowning while painting an ocean storm and enduring extremes of wind, rain, scorching heat, and sub-zero cold.

Health ruined, he’s crippled with arthritic pain and warned by doctors to never paint outdoors again. Spirit wavering, success nearly impossible, he has to find the inner strength to continue.

And he does – in a triumphant, life-affirming climax.

Depicted throughout the past two millennia as both a saint and a sinner.

Revered by Roman Catholics, Eastern Orthodoxy and the Anglican Church alike.

The prostitute who found redemption at the foot of a man known for miracles?

Or the woman of infinite grace and purity who some say shared his life?

In this two-hour, in-depth program we will seek to explore all aspects of Mary, to uncover the sources of the myths and innuendo that have surrounded her, as well as the truth – as we know it today.

We will travel to the place of her birth; trace her journey, as can be determined, prior to her meeting Jesus, piecing together their travels, his ministry, and beyond. Was she indeed an Apostle? Is the Gospel of Mary correct? Or the Gospel of Philip who depicted her as Jesus’ koinonos – a Greek term for companion or, potentially, a wife? Why were these gospels feared and many destroyed, never seeing the light of day in the New Testament?

How could one passionate sermon from Pope Gregory in the 6th Century turn the tide against this woman of supposed virtue – tainting her with the inference of prostitute that would be strongly associated with her name for centuries?

Was Peter jealous of the woman to whom Jesus showed so much attention and perhaps affection? The man who would later be Saint is said to have believed many of Jesus’ ideas indeed derived from Mary. He wrote…”Did he then speak secretly with this woman, in preference to us, and not openly? Are we to turn back and all listen to her? Did he prefer her to us?” (The Nag Hammadi Library).

We will attempt to find answers to these questions and more.

Known by scores as Mary Magdalene, Mary of Megdalah or by her Hebrew name, Miriamne – she has nonetheless tantalized and confounded historians and the faithful alike throughout millennia.

All known references indicate that she most likely hailed from a small village on the western shore of the Sea of Galilee. In today’s Israel, it is the lush north bordering Lebanon. Her name derived from the town of her birth, Megdalah (pronounced mig-da-lah) although throughout the years she is said to have traveled extensively – reportedly leaving Judea after the death and resurrection of Jesus – continuing to preach his sermons until her death.

We will analyze customs of the day which argue that bachelorhood was very rare for Jewish males of Jesus’ time, being generally regarded as a transgression of the first divine commandment: “Be fruitful and multiply”. According to this reasoning, it is written, it would have been “unthinkable for an adult, unmarried Jew to travel about teaching as a rabbi”.

Finally, the date of Mary’s death remains a mystery. However, reports strongly suggest she died in Ephesus – and to a lesser degree Asia Minor or Marseilles, France – where many of her icons remain today, particularly in Aix-en-Provence.

We will visit these sites and explore why each holds to the belief that Mary was there, lived her life and died in those places.

We will discuss all of the above with biblical scholars and historians, traveling to the actual locations, to piece together a vibrant picture of one of the most revered women in history – of whom we still know so little. Yet she remains an iconic figure throughout the centuries, her life closely intermingled with the most important man these two centuries have produced.

We hope to shed a shining light on the life of the woman who was, conceivably, the most important person in the life of the Christ.

Dead History® takes a page from time itself and marries it with an intriguing twist – the psychic. With this pairing of history and present-day psychic interpretation we hope to present historical events – through re-creation, current day investigation and in-depth ansurrounding historical mysteries.

For a More Complete Synopsis Click Here

In this weekly hour-long presentation we seek to unravel exactly what did occur – and perhaps, what did not. We hope to shine light on questions that have been asked by generations such as…Did Oswald kill John Kennedy and, if not, who really was involved? What really happened at the site of the 300? Where is the Ark of the Covenant buried? Where is Atlantis and what happened to bring about its demise? Where is the true final resting place of Jesus? What was it like in the final hours of Pompeii? What did Nostradamus really want us to know? These are but a few of the historical questions we will ponder and hope to resolve through psychic intervention.

During the first half-hour our presenter, Brian Flint, will take us on a historical journey of the locale for that segment – giving us insight into what is scientifically known to date and what has been left for us to interpret and imagine. Interviews with experts in the field will also be an added element with respect to background in giving a more in-depth perspective to the “incident” in question. The final half-hour will be spent with our psychic, world-renowned British medium Robert Brown, in channeling information and building a picture of what occurred and how it all played out – all through the eyes of the dead. Robert Brown has the distinction of being named by the Edgar Cayce Foundation as their resident psychic.

Through our presenter and psychic we will intricately piece together the puzzles that have left generations questioning for decades and centuries. We will attempt to fill in the gaps in an entertaining, intriguing – and at times – other-worldly manner.

The success of shows such as Medium, Ghost Whisperer, Paranormal State, Hauntings, Crossing Over and Psychic Investigators validate the public’s interest in the supernatural and paranormal. We believe that our audience – with a demographic of both male and female in all 18+ age groups – will respond positively towards, and have great interest in, this type of programming.

We shall endeavor to provide well-respected, scientific data through the guise of our archaeologists and leading psychics with proven abilities in previous investigative settings. Our presenter will take us around the world, explaining and exploring various locales and ancient sites. He will explain the history and delve into the mysteries. Through the use of our psychic we may possibly find the key that opens the door to mysteries that have confounded us for generations.

Dead History production values will be top-of-the-line with beautifully shot locations and re-enactment segments. This will give the program a gravitas that many others do not have and will be a compelling element in grabbing the attention of the ever increasing discriminating viewer. alysis – and in the process perhaps uncover the truth behind events.

For a More Complete Synopsis Click Here

EPISODE SUMMARY

PILOT – ASHES, ASHES, WE ALL FALL DOWN

Explore the world of Pompeii from the view of the spirit world, the homes of the wealthy to the bakeries and brothels. Examine the remains of victims human and animal, cast in the stone formed by the ash and watch as we connect with the spirits of these individuals and see, through the eyes of our psychics, what the victims of that fateful day in 79 C.E. saw and felt.

We’ll visit Pompeii and see the city, buried in ash for nearly 2,000 years and relive its last days through the spirits of its residents, artisans and visitors.

Episode 2 – ROMAN HOLIDAY

Connect with the spirits of the ancients who died during the battles held at the Colosseum.

The Colosseum was used to host gladiatorial shows as well as a variety of other events. The shows, called munera, were always given by individuals rather than the state. They had a strong religious element but were also demonstration of power and family prestige, and were immensely popular with the population. Another popular type of show was the animal hunt, or venatio, and Trajan is said to have celebrated his victories in Dacia in 107 with contests involving 11,000 animals and 10,000 gladiators over the course of 123 days.

During the early days of the Colosseum, ancient writers recorded that the building was used for simulated sea battles. Accounts of the inaugural games held by Titus in AD 80 describe it being filled with water for a display of specially trained swimming horses and bulls. There is also an account of a re-enactment of a famous sea battle between the Corfiot Greeks and the Corinthians. This has been the subject of some debate among historians; although providing the water would not have been a problem, it is unclear how the arena could have been waterproofed, nor would there have been enough space in the arena for the warships to move around. It has been suggested that the reports either have the location wrong, or that the Colosseum originally featured a wide floodable channel down its central axis.

Sylvae or recreations of natural scenes were also held in the arena. Painters, technicians and architects would construct a simulation of a forest with real trees and bushes planted in the arena’s floor. Animals would be introduced to populate the scene for the delight of the crowd. Such scenes might be used simply to display a natural environment for the urban population, or could otherwise be used as the backdrop for hunts or dramas depicting episodes from mythology. They were also occasionally used for executions in which the hero of the story — played by a condemned person — was killed in one of various gruesome but mythologically authentic ways, such as being mauled by beasts or burned to death.

Episode 3 – OSTIA ANTICA

The beautifully preserved ruins of Ostia lie twenty miles from Rome, in the meadows between the Tiber River and the Tyrrhenian Sea. It was founded, probably in the 4th century BC, as a military colony to guard the river mouth against seaborne invasions. Later, during the centuries when virtually all imports reached the Capital via the Tiber, Ostia gained prominence as the domestic landing for cargo boats. By the 2nd century AD, it had become a flourishing commercial center inhabited by upwards of 100,000 people, whose apartment buildings, taverns, and grocery shops are still intact. When and why was Ostia Antica abandoned? Examine daily life through the eyes of psychics who connect with the spirits of the residents of Ostia.

Episode 4 – MACHU PICCHU

The ruins of Machu Picchu, rediscovered in 1911 by Yale archaeologist Hiram Bingham, are one of the most beautiful and enigmatic ancient sites in the world. While the Inca people certainly used the Andean mountain top (9060 feet elevation), erecting many hundreds of stone structures from the early 1400′s, legends and myths indicate that Machu Picchu (meaning ‘Old Peak’ in the Quechua language) was revered as a sacred place from a far earlier time. Whatever its origins, the Inca turned the site into a small (5 square miles) but extraordinary city. Invisible from below and completely self-contained, surrounded by agricultural terraces sufficient to feed the population, and watered by natural springs, Machu Picchu seems to have been utilized by the Inca as a secret ceremonial city. Two thousand feet above the rumbling Urubamba river, the cloud shrouded ruins have palaces, baths, temples, storage rooms and some 150 houses, all in a remarkable state of preservation. These structures, carved from the gray granite of the mountain top are wonders of both architectural and aesthetic genius. Many of the building blocks weigh 50 tons or more yet are so precisely sculpted and fitted together with such exactitude that the mortarless joints will not permit the insertion of even a thin knife blade. Little is known of the social or religious use of the site during Inca times. The skeletal remains of ten females to one male had led to the casual assumption that the site may have been a sanctuary for the training of priestesses and /or brides for the Inca nobility. However, subsequent osteological examination of the bones revealed an equal number of male bones, thereby indicating that Machu Picchu was not exclusively a temple or dwelling place of women.

One of Machu Picchu’s primary functions was that of astronomical observatory, and Shamanic legends say that when sensitive persons touch their foreheads to the stone, the Intihuatana opens one’s vision to the spirit world (the author had such an experience, which is described in detail in Chapter one of Places of Peace and Power, on the web site, www.sacredsites.com). Intihuatana stones were the supremely sacred objects of the Inca people and were systematically searched for and destroyed by the Spaniards. When the Intihuatana stone was broken at an Inca shrine, the Inca believed that the deities of the place died or departed. The Spaniards never found Machu Picchu, even though they suspected its existence, thus the Intihuatana stone and its resident spirits remain in their original position. The mountain top sanctuary fell into disuse and was abandoned some forty years after the Spanish took Cuzco in 1533. Supply lines linking the many Inca social centers were disrupted and the great empire came to an end. The photograph shows the ruins of Machu Picchu in the foreground with the sacred peak of Wayna Picchu towering behind. Partway down the northern side of Wayna Picchu is the so-called “Temple of the Moon” inside a cavern. As with the ruins of Machu Picchu, there is no archaeological or iconographical evidence to substantiate the ‘new-age’ assumption that this cave was a goddess site.

Episode 5 – FUHRER FUROR

Few characters in history engender the fear and fury of Adolf Hitler. History has written and re-written the details of his life, career and death from the perspective of those he ruled, and those he victimized. No one has approached the life of this man, or those close to him from their own perspective.

In this episode, we will be examining the life of Hitler and those closest to him, those who were loyal to him, and even those who loved him.

On 28 April, Hitler discovered that SS leader Heinrich Himmler was trying to inform the Allies that Germany was prepared to discuss surrender terms. Hitler responded as he did with Göering, ordering his arrest and removing him from office, while having his representative in Berlin Hermann Fegelein shot.

On 29 April, Hans Krebs, Wilhelm Burgdorf, Joseph Goebbels, and Martin Bormann witnessed and signed the last will and testament of Adolf Hitler. Hitler dictated the document to his private secretary, Traudl Junge. Hitler was also that day informed of the violent death of Italian dictator Benito Mussolini on 28 April, which is presumed to have increased his determination to avoid capture.

On 30 April 1945, Hitler committed suicide, shooting himself while simultaneously biting into a cyanide capsule. Hitler’s body and that of Eva Braun (his mistress whom he had married the day before) were put in a bomb crater, doused in gasoline by Otto Günsche and other Führerbunker aides, and set alight. Hitler also had his dog Blondi poisoned before his suicide to test the poison he and Eva Braun were going to take.

When Russian forces reached the Chancellory, they found his body and an autopsy was performed using dental records to confirm the identification. The remains of Hitler and Braun were secretly buried by SMERSH at their headquarters in Magdeburg. In 1970, when the facility was about to be turned over to the East German government, the remains were reportedly exhumed and thoroughly cremated. According to the Russian Federal Security Service, a fragment of human skull stored in its archives and displayed to the public in a 2000 exhibition came from the remains of Hitler’s body and is all that remains of Hitler. However, the authenticity of the skull has been challenged by many historians and researchers.

Episode 6 – THE SPHINX

The mysterious half man half feline has confounded us for centuries. Is there map detailing information on Atlantis under his front left paw as stated by seer Edgar Cayce? What powers did the huge monument bestow upon the pharaoh’s?

Join us as we unravel the mysteries of the pyramids through the eyes of the ones who built them, the priests who worshipped there and the kings buried there.

Episode 7 – DEM BONES, DEM BONES, DEM DRY BONES

The Catacombs of Paris, containing the famous underground Ossuary of Paris is located in a renovated section of the city’s vast network of subterranean tunnels and caverns.

Near the Left Bank, the catacombs are located in an area that was just outside the city gates before Paris expanded in 1860. Although this cemetery covers only a small section of underground tunnels officially called “les carrières de Paris” (“the quarries of Paris”), Parisians today popularly refer to the entire network as “the catacombs”.

Nearly all of Paris’ larger churches once maintained their own cemeteries, but by the late 1700’s, overwhelmed by city growth and generations of dead, Paris’ largest Les Innocents cemetery was saturated to a point where its neighbors were suffering from disease due to contamination caused by improper burials, open mass graves, and earth charged with decomposing organic matter.

After almost a century of ineffective decrees condemning the cemetery, it was finally decided to create three new large-scale suburban cemeteries and to condemn all existing within the city limits, while the remains of all condemned cemeteries would be moved discreetly to a renovated section of Paris’ abandoned quarries.

Covered in graffiti dating from the eighteenth century onwards, the walls of the catacombs hold the stories of generations of Parisian citizens, victims of war and the voices of dissent. Victor Hugo used his knowledge about the tunnel system in Les Misérables, and during World War II, Parisian members of the French Resistance used the tunnel system while German soldiers established an underground bunker in the catacombs below Lycée Montaigne, a high school in the 6th arrondissement.

Our host and psychics will explore and examine the history of the catacombs and connect with the spirits of those who fought, died and were buried here.

Episode 8 – ANGKOR WAT

Constructed in the jungle in the early 12th century and two centuries later mysteriously abandoned, Angkor Wat was built by the Khmer civilization. Built for King Suryavarman II as his state temple and capital city, the largest and best-preserved temple at the site is the only one to have remained a significant religious centre—first Hindu, then Buddhist—since its foundation.

The Temple was constructed over a period of 30 years, and illustrates some of the most beautiful examples of Khmer and Hindu art. Covering an area of about 81 hectares, the complex consists of five towers, which are presently shown on the Cambodian national flag. These towers are believed to represent the five peaks of Mount Meru, the Home of Gods and Center of the Hindu Universe. Angkor Wat features the longest continuous bas-relief in the world, which runs along the outer gallery walls, narrating stories from Hindu Mythology.

Dead History will delve into the depths of this spectacular archaeological site, and attempt to connect with the spirits of those who lived, and ultimately died here to explore the reasons behind the abandonment of this magnificent city.

Episode 9 – I LEFT MY HEART AT CHICHÉN ITZÁ

Deep within the jungles of Mexico and Guatemala and extending into the limestone shelf of the Yucatan peninsula lay the mysterious temples and pyramids of the Maya. While Europe was still in the midst of the Dark Ages, these amazing people had mapped the heavens, evolved the only true writing system native to the Americas and were masters of mathematics. They invented the calendars we use today. Without metal tools, beasts of burden or even the wheel they were able to construct vast cities across a huge jungle landscape with an amazing degree of architectural perfection and variety. Their legacy in stone, which has survived in a spectacular fashion at places such as Palenque, Tikal, Tulum, Chichén Itzá, Copan and Uxmal, lives on as do the seven million descendants of the classic Maya civilization

Thousands of Mayans were sacrificed to the Gods, and Dean History is going to attempt to contact the spirits of those individuals. The Cenote of Sacrifice was reserved for rituals involving human sacrifice involving the rain God. The victims were not only young women, but also children and elderly men and women.

Possibly the best known construction on the site is Kukulcan’s Pyramid. El Castillo (Kukulkan-Quetzalcoatl), a square-based, stepped pyramid that is approximately 75 feet tall. This pyramid was built for astronomical purposes and during the vernal equinox (March 20) and the autumnal equinox (September 21) at about 3 P.M. the sunlight bathes the western balustrade of the pyramid’s main stairway. This causes seven isosceles triangles to form imitating the body of a serpent 37 yards long that creeps downwards until it joins the huge serpent’s head carved in stone at the bottom of the stairway. Mexican researcher Luis El Arochi calls it “the symbolic descent of Kukulcan” (the feathered serpent), and believes it could have been connected with agricultural rituals.

Episode 10 – EPHESUS

On October 18th, 1881, a French priest, the Abbé Julien Gouyet of Paris, discovered a small stone building on a mountain overlooking the Aegean Sea and the ruins of ancient Ephesus in Turkey. He believed it was the house where the Virgin Mary had lived in the final years of her life on earth as described in the visions of the German nun Anne Catherine Emmerich (1774-1824), who had never been to Ephesus during her lifetime, published in detail in a book by Clemens Brentano. His discovery was not taken seriously at the time but ten years later, in 1891, two Lazarist missionaries from Smyrna rediscovered the building, using the same source for a guide. It was then learned that the four-walled, roofless ruin had been venerated from time immemorial by the members of a distant mountain village who were descended from the Christians of Ephesus. They called it Panaya Kapulu (“Chapel of the Most Holy” see Panagia), believed it was there that she had died and had every year made a pilgrimage to the site on August 15th, the date on which the rest of the Christian world celebrated Mary’s Assumption from Jerusalem.

The discovery in fact revives and strengthens a constant and ancient Christian tradition, ‘the tradition of Ephesus’, which has always competed with the generally accepted ‘Jerusalem tradition’ concerning in particular, the place of the Blessed Virgin’s passing from this world.

The remnants of the discovered structure have been dated to 6th – 7th centuries, with parts of the foundation and coal found on the site dated to the 1st century. The current chapel at the site is the result of a restoration work completed in 1950, built on top of original remains, for making the site suitable for pilgrimage after it has been declared an official Catholic pilgrimage site.

The Roman Catholic Church has never pronounced on the authenticity of the house, and is unlikely ever to do so, for lack of scientifically acceptable evidence. It has, however, from the blessing of the first pilgrimage by Pope Leo XIII in 1896, taken a very positive attitude towards the probability that the house was in fact the last home of the Theotokos (Mother of God). Pope Pius XII, in 1951, following the definition of the dogma of the Assumption in 1950, elevated the house to the status of a Holy Place, a privilege later made permanent by Pope John XXIII.

The site maintains its holiness for the Muslims as well as for the Christian world. People believing in the sanctity of the Virgin Mary come here and drink from the spring running under the house which is believed to have healing properties.

Episode 11 – ONE LITTLE, TWO LITTLE, THREE LITTLE ALIENS

Many believe the ancient legends of the American Indians that tell of visitations to our planet thousands of years ago by space travelers…and there is evidence that today’s tribes are still in contact with beings from far away realms and other dimensions.

Dead History will examine if, when and how the American Indian, has been contacted throughout the years. The Indian belief that there is no distinction between nature on Earth and the cosmic energies is in direct opposition to the white man’s core belief of a separate nature where Earth and “space” exist as separate entities.

We will be examining the 4,000 year old petroglyphs in the American Southwest and Australia.

These illustrations are from journal of two expeditions to Australia in the 1830’s. The journey to caves near the Glenelg River region of Kimberley, Northern Australia revealed this series of cave paintings, called the Wandjina by the Aboriginals who painted them.

Episode 12 – STONEHENGE

Stonehenge is a prehistoric monument located in the English county of Wiltshire, about 8 miles (13 km) north of Salisbury. One of the most famous prehistoric sites in the world, Stonehenge is composed of earthworks surrounding a circular setting of large standing stones. Archaeologists believe that the standing stones were erected around 2200 BC and the surrounding circular earth bank and ditch, which constitute the earliest phase of the monument, have been dated to about 3100 BC.

Christopher Chippindale’s Stonehenge Complete gives the derivation of the name Stonehenge as coming from the Old English words “stan” meaning “stone”, and either “hencg” meaning “hinge” (because the stone lintels hinge on the upright stones) or “hen(c)en” meaning “hang” or “gallows” or “instrument of torture”. Medieval gallows consisted of two uprights with a lintel joining them, resembling Stonehenge’s trilithons, rather than looking like the inverted L-shape more familiar today.

The Stonehenge complex was built in several construction phases spanning at least 3000 years, although there is evidence for activity both before and afterwards on the site, perhaps extending its time frame to 6500 years. Dating and understanding the various phases of activity at Stonehenge is not a simple task; it is complicated by poorly kept early excavation records and surprisingly few accurate scientific dates.

Dead History will attempt to contact the spirits of those who lived during the time of Stonehenges creation and find out what it’s true uses were, and why it was abandoned.

Episode 13 – ROSLYN CHAPEL

Rosslyn Chapel and the nearby Rosslyn Castle are located at the village of Roslin, Midlothian, Scotland. The chapel was founded by William Sinclair, 1st Earl of Caithness of the Sinclair family, a noble family descended from Norman knights, using the standard designs the medieval architects made available to him. Rosslyn Chapel is the third Sinclair place of worship at Roslin – the first being in Rosslyn Castle and the second (whose crumbling buttresses can still be seen today) in what is now Roslin Cemetery.

The chapel, built 150 years after the dissolution of the Knights Templar, supposedly has many Templar symbols, such as the “Two riders on a single horse” that appear on the Seal of the Knights Templar. The layout of the chapel is cited as echoing the layout of the Temple of Solomon.

A later William Sinclair of Roslin became the first Grand Master of the Grand Lodge of Scotland and, subsequently, several other members of the Sinclair family have held this position. These connections, to both the Templars and the Freemasons, means that Rosslyn features prominently in romantic conjectures that the Freemasons are direct descendants of the Knights Templar, though, as scholars point out, there is absolutely no historical connection between the two.

There are a plethora of legends surrounding Rosslyn Chapel, and Dead History will attempt to connect with the spirits surrounding the famous locale, to establish the truths that lie shrouded in mystery.

Episode 14 – FATIMA

In the year 1917, in a mountainous region at the center of Portugal, the Mother of God appeared six times to three young children. Elsewhere on the continent the “Great War” raged, that would cost Europe an entire generation, over 37 million lives. Besides sending her own sons to die (in France and North Africa) Portugal was in political chaos at home. There was a dizzy succession of governments following a revolution in 1910. The monarchy had been replaced by a republic, with a new liberal constitution separating Church from state. Government officials, under the influence of Freemasonry, were not sympathetic to the Faith. But for the people themselves, the Faith was the air they breathed, as in the village of Aljustrel, a collection of whitewashed houses on a dusty road in the parish of Fatima.

There Lucia, Francisco, and Jacinta were born and raised in homes where the catechism was their daily bread, stories from the Bible their recreation, and the word of the village priest was law. Lucia de Jesus Santos was born, the youngest of seven children, to Antonio and Maria Rosa Santos, on 22 March 1907. She was a plain child with sparkling eyes and a magnetic personality, a natural leader to whom other children looked with confident affection. Blessed with an excellent memory, Lucia was able to learn her catechism, and make her First Communion and Confession, at age six. She herself became a catechist at nine. Lucia would be the constant guide and companion to her first cousins, Francisco and Jacinta Marto, through the trials that accompanied the apparitions of the Blessed Mother.

In rural Portugal of 1916 it would not have been unusual to see children leading their family flocks to pasture. This is what the children of the Marto and Santos families, cousins all, did on many days. Often it was Lucia Santos, Francisco Marto and his sister Jacinta, who gladly undertook this chore, grateful for the chance to be outdoors and to play as the sheep silently grazed. They would take their families few sheep to graze on small plots of land owned by their parents in different parts of the sera, the mountainous plateau on which was located the village of Fátima (where the parish church was) and Aljustrel (where the children actually resided). Two favorite grazing areas were the hillside facing Aljustrel, near an outcropping called Loca do Cabeco (Place of the Head) and the Cova da Iria (Cove of Irene) at some distance beyond Fátima. At first one, then the other, would occur the apparitions which would change the course of the children’s lives and the history of the 20th century.

Dead History will attempt to find the secrets of the shrine and share the unknown stories behind the legend of Fatima.

Aegis Film Group is proud to be in development on this thrilling and compelling narrative set to shoot in the spring of 2011.

……

For A More Complete Synopsis Click Here

Born Margaretha Zelle in 1876, this lovely Dutch native escaped the cold, and in her words ‘boring’ world of her homeland to marry an Army officer twenty one years her senior. Accompanying her husband to exotic Sumatra, Margaretha soon acclimated to and absorbed the beautiful and expressive culture which surrounded her.

After tragedy takes the life of one of her two children, she returns to Paris and begins a new life, a new past born of her imagination, and a new name..Mata Hari, Javanese for ‘Eye Of The Day’. A life that takes her from Paris to Berlin makes her a star of Paris nightlife as well as a wealthy socialite and a lover of men. Many men. Men in uniform particularly intrigued her and it was they who ultimately led to her demise.

Mata Hari will be a visually stunning tale, rich in landscape, emotion and drama. Not least the addition of mesmerizing costume, sensuality and movement of the Javanese dance, combined with the openly sensuous air of early 20th century France will make Mata Hari a lavish experience for the viewing audience.

Embroiled in a web of deceit, Mata Hari is trapped by lovers and accusers alike. Betrayed by those who used her, and convicted by those who could not bend her will, Mata Hari was executed on October 15, 1917 by firing squad.
